Points to Consider Before Appealing for DIC Claims For Widows

Losing a loved one, or a family member, is a deep tragedy. This is even greater when that loved one has served in the military. Such irreplaceable losses cannot be made whole again, but certain policies exist to facilitate certain interests of the surviving family. For the family of those who have served or are on duty, a monetary benefit is available to help satisfy the interests of surviving family members expense. This also takes some financial pressure off during a difficult time.   One such policy is   DIC Claims for Widows .  In December, year 2016, the VA’s standard monthly rate was set at a payment of $1,257.95 for Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC). The surviving family member of the martyred soldier will receive this benefit for the remainder of his or her life.
